Comic Relief 40th Anniversary

Just had the absolute honour of attending the 40th anniversary of Comic Relief and the launch of this year’s Red Nose Day in my capacity as a Non-Executive Director on the Finance and Fundraising Committee of Comic Relief.

Did you know that over the past 40 years, Comic Relief has raised an incredible £1.5 billion, changing the lives of 100 million people around the world? Truly humbling to be part of such a remarkable legacy of compassion and action.

To top it all off, I had the pleasure of meeting the legend himself, Sir Lenny Henry, who co-founded Comic Relief at just 27 years old. Your vision and commitment have inspired generations, Sir Lenny—we appreciate you!
